A criatividade de usuários do CAPS em uma oficina poética: um relato de experiência

INTRODUCTION: This is an experience report about how creativity is stimulated in a poetic workshop held in a Psychosocial Care Center. OBJECTIVE: The aim of the study was to verify the role of creative activities for each mentally ill user, recognizing how the process of subjectivation occurs through the exercise of creativity and its impact on the user's reception and autonomy. METHOD: Meetings were held in a poetic workshop of writing, drawing, music and physical stretching activities, which brings together users of a CAPS in the interior of Minas Gerais. RESULTS: We observed the production of different forms of language and contact with users through the activities, in which some benefited from writing, while others had greater intimacy with drawing. CONCLUSION: Such activities promoted the expression of subjectivity and the manifestation of creativity in various contexts.
