II. DÜNYA SAVAŞI SÜRECİNDE TÜRK BASINI VE EKONOMİSİNİN KARİKATÜRLERE YANSIMALARI
World War II led to an increase in oppressive conditions on a global scale and emerged as one of the periods in which censorship was most intensively applied. This process also affected Turkey, as Turkish press organizations were required to comply with state regulations in order to convey information on social and political issues. Under the challenging conditions of the war, foreign policy, economy, social transformations, and new political initiatives of the Turkish government were presented to the public through cartoons in newspapers.
