The Phenomenon of the Rural Teacher in the Context of Groundbreaking Archaeological Discoveries
<ns3:p>The article examines the role of the rural teacher as a mediator of knowledge in the circulation of information about archaeological discoveries. Drawing on selected, well-documented cases, it presents the activities of teachers and the institutional factors that facilitated the effective transmission of information between local communities and academic centres. It also outlines alternative channels of mediation and the limitations of generalising conclusions.</ns3:p>
