Konjac glucomannan derived biodegradable superionic solid-state electrolyte films for devising economically viable supercapacitor
We synthesized biodegradable and economically viable solid-state electrolyte films based on konjac glucomannan (KG) and sodium iodide (NaI). Among the KGNaI-<i>x</i> (<i>x</i> = 31-69 wt%) films, KGNaI-69 exhibits superior flexibility, biodegradability, and sodium superionic conductivity of 77.9 mS cm-1. The KGNaI-69-based supercapacitor delivers outstanding electrochemical efficiency and cycling stability, retaining 84.4% capacitance after 5000 cycles establishing its potentiality toward flexible energy storage devices.
