AI TOOLS IN SUPPORTING FOREIGN ECONOMIC ACTIVITY: EVALUATING EFFECTIVENESS AND PROSPECTS FOR APPLICATION

The work is aimed at a comprehensive study of the role of artificial intelligence (AI) tools in ensuring foreign economic activity (FEA), as well as identifying factors influencing their effectiveness and prospects for integration into international practice. The study is based on an interdisciplinary approach, including the analysis of international trade statistics, a wide range of analytical reports, econometric modeling, and machine learning methods for forecasting the dynamics of FEA. The data obtained show that the use of AI tools reduces transaction costs, increases the accuracy of demand forecasting, and helps reduce customs processing time. At the same time, key limitations associated with insufficient transparency of algorithms, cyber risks, and other risks were identified. AI tools demonstrate high potential for transforming FEA, but their large-scale use requires institutional adaptation, the development of international regulatory standards, and increased digital competence of market participants. In the future, it is the integration of AI technologies that can become the driver of sustainable development of global trade and increased competitiveness of national economies.
