El año jubilar en el Antiguo Testamento: formar parte de Israel y abrirse a la redención
The codification of the law of the Jubilee year reveals various theological and social aspects that are greatly clarified by an exposition of the historical context in which it was produced. This legislation, which constitutes the major part of Lev 25, shows one particularity: the impossibility of the celebration of the Jubilee (both legally and factually). For this reason, attention is paid to the (perhaps) only prophetic rereading of these laws, Is 61:1-3, where an eschatologisation of the subject matter is observed. This step, however, already finds support in the legislation itself in the third book of the Pentateuch, which opens the door to this kind of development.
