Comparative characteristics of welds obtained by laser and electric arc welding of EK-61 alloy made by 3D printing
The effect of laser and argon-arc welding modes on the mechanical properties of parts manufactured by direct laser deposition (3D printing) from EK-61 powder alloy is studied. The results of metallographic studies of the weld and the weld-affected zone of samples are presented. The possibility for obtaining of a high-quality weld by laser and argon-arc welding of such products is shown. The effect of the passes number on the quality of the weld is noted.
