Directional Drilling Trajectory Control Technologies for Coal Mine Energy Extraction-Based Finite Element Analysis
Due to the complex mining environment, directional drilling trajectories are prone to low control accuracy. Therefore, this article takes the drill string in directional wells as the research object and establishes a simulation model. The contact dynamics between the drill string and the wellbore were analyzed based on finite element theory. Furthermore, the optimization design of each well section in directional drilling has been achieved. The drilling trajectory is controlled. Under the designed trajectory control method, the fitting degree between the actual drilling trajectory and the planned trajectory reached 0.94. The collision frequency has been reduced to 48 times, and the maximum collision force is 248 kN. The control accuracy reaches 97.46%. The proposed directional drilling trajectory control method based on finite element analysis can effectively control the actual drilling trajectory, improving drilling accuracy and efficiency. This provides strong technical support for coal mine energy extraction.
