Exploring the Practical Pathways for Cultivating High-Level Application-Oriented Talents in Local Universities Based on Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Reform — A Case Study of Hunan City University
To address the structural contradictions in innovation and entrepreneurship education in application-oriented universities, such as disconnection between curricula, fragmented platforms, and insufficient motivation, this study constructs a “Three-Dimensional Synergy Model” based on educational ecology and the triple helix theory, with Hunan City University as an example. The model includes three aspects: in the disciplinary dimension, it restructures the curriculum system by leveraging distinctive advantages and implements a flexible academic structure; in the ecological dimension, it establishes an integrated on- and off-campus incubation network to enhance resource consolidation; in the institutional dimension, it innovates faculty mechanisms and incentive policies to boost proactive engagement in innovation and entrepreneurship initiatives. Through these three synergistic drivers, the model achieves deep collaboration between the education chain and the industry chain, forming a replicable reform paradigm. It provides practical pathways for application-oriented universities to overcome the challenges of industry-education integration.
