Exploration of the Path for Practical Teaching of Environmental Engineering Major in Local Undergraduate Colleges

The article initially examines the current state of practical teaching in environmental engineering majors at local undergraduate institutions in the context of the New Engineering Concept. Taking Yibin University as an example, it then proposes reform measures for practical teaching in environmental engineering majors under this new context. These measures specifically include strategies such as strengthening the integration of ideological and political education with practical teaching, optimizing talent cultivation programs, enhancing the development of a “double-qualified” teaching faculty, and bolstering the construction of practical teaching bases.
