ANALISIS KINERJA USAHATANI PADI SAWAH DI KECAMATAN TENGGARONG SEBERANG DENGAN PENDEKATAN STOCHASTIC FRONTIER ANALYSIS

Analysis of Paddy Farming Performance in Tenggarong Seberang with Stochastic Frontier Analysis Approach. Providing food, especially rice, requires efforts to increase the productivity of rice farming. Good farm management can be measured through technical efficiency. Tenggarong Seberang district is one of the centers of rice production in Kutai Kartanegara Regency and is also a rice supply area to other regions in East Kalimantan. The research aims to identify production factors that affect production, to analyze the technical efficiency and inefficiency factors in rice farming. The research was conducted in Bukit Pariaman and Bhuana Jaya Village, Tenggarong Seberang district in May-July 2024. The sampling method was random sampling. The number of respondents was 60 farmers. Data analysis using Stochastic Frontier Analysis. The results showed that land area and labor had a significant effect on the production frontier, while seeds, urea fertilizer, and NPK fertilizer had no significant effect. The average technical efficiency of paddy farming is 0.8755. The number of family members is affect farming inefficiency. The performance of rice farming shows high achievements in technical aspects of cultivation, as indicated by actual production, which is close to the production frontier.
