Global, regional, and national burdens of early onset gastric cancer aged 15–49 years from 1990 to 2021 with projections to 2035: a population-based study
Despite a decrease in ASIR, ASMR, and ASDR globally, the absolute burden of EOGC remains high, with significant regional disparities. Targeted prevention and treatment strategies are needed, particularly in low- and middle-income countries. Future research should focus on identifying additional risk factors and exploring the effectiveness of different preventive strategies in various regions.
