SIMULATION MODEL OF A COMBINED SIGNAL-CODE DESIGN OF A MILITARY DIGITAL TROPOSPHERIC COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

The article presents a simulation model of a combined signal-code design of a military digital tropospheric communication system based on cascade and space-time coding in a channel with Rayleigh fading. Based on the simulation results, in order to confirm the adequacy of the model in order to determine the optimal structures and parameters of the combined signal-code design by means of structural-parametric synthesis, a comparison of the experimental dependencies of the bit error probability with the theoretical ones obtained using the previously proposed mathematical model for calculating and assessing the noise immunity of combined signal-code designs was carried out

Abstract

The article presents a simulation model of a combined signal-code design of a military digital tropospheric communication system based on cascade and space-time coding in a channel with Rayleigh fading. Based on the simulation results, in order to confirm the adequacy of the model in order to determine the optimal structures and parameters of the combined signal-code design by means of structural-parametric synthesis, a comparison of the experimental dependencies of the bit error probability with the theoretical ones obtained using the previously proposed mathematical model for calculating and assessing the noise immunity of combined signal-code designs was carried out
