Hakkâri Yöresinden Türkiye Mikobiyotası için İki Yeni Galerina Kaydı
Galerina Earle is defined as a genus with over 300 species worldwide, characterized by small, brown spores and saprotrophic nature. This genus is most commonly confused with hallucinogenic Psilocybe species. To date, 15 species have been identified in Turkey. In 2020, macrofungi samples, collected from the central and Çukurca districts of Hakkâri, were identified through field and laboratory studies, revealing that Galerina calyptrata P.D. Orton and Galerina tibiicystis (G.F. Atk.) Kühner are new records for the mycobiota of Türkiye. With these new records, the number of Galerina species in Turkey has reached 17. Macroscopic and microscopic data related to these new records, and visual representations of their macro- and micro-morphologies have been presented and briefly discussed.
