CURRENT ISSUES OF IMPORT SUBSTITUTION OF SOFTWARE FOR THE PREPARATION OF DESIGN DOCUMENTATION

The current situation in the field of information technology is considered. It is noted that the sanctions pressure against the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus complicates the purchase of licenses: the CREO CAD systems, PDM Windchill and other software products used to solve problems related to the preparation of design documentation are under sanctions. As a result, import substitution in the field of IT technologies is becoming a priority goal. Here it is necessary to search for alternative import-independent software, develop criteria for selecting CAD and PDM systems, study data migration from the old system to the new one. Since “ASCON” technologies are still behind to foreign analogues, a number of problems arising during the transition from imported products to the Kompas and Lotsman software were identified and analyzed (transfer of 3D models and drawings, lack of technology for mass data import, difficulties in exporting and migrating previously accumulated data, lagging behind in functionality, performance and interface, limited capabilities for working with large assemblies, etc.). A conclusion was made about the need for “ASCON” to refine the functionality of the Kompas CAD and Lotsman PLM software to ensure their compliance with the requirements of modern engineering tasks and foreign analogues
