Adhesive-tuning with aromatic dithiols in thiol-quinone Michael polyadditions to tailor thiol-catechol connected (TCC) polymers
Thiophenolic dithiols enabled rapid, selective thiol-quinone polyaddition, forming thiol-catechol connected (TCC) polymers with strong dry and underwater adhesion driven by high glass transition temperatures and intrinsic hydrophobicity.
