Cirsoid Aneurysm: A Rare Cause of Headache
Cirsoid aneurysm, a rare scalp arteriovenous malformation, presenting as a pulsatile mass with associated headache. A 40-year-old female with a 20-year history of left-sided scalp swelling underwent successful surgical excision. Imaging, particularly digital subtraction angiography and contrast-enhanced computerized tomography, aids diagnosis and treatment planning. Surgical excision remains the definitive treatment to prevent recurrence and complications.
