Integrated Microwave Thermoacoustic Simulation of Biological Tissues
A microwave thermotropic ultrasound finite element simulation model was established in COMSOL Multiphysics to model the process of microwave-thermal-force-acoustic conversion in muscle tissue under the action of 2.45 GHz microwave pulses, as well as the microwave energy, temperature, displacement, pressure, and acoustic pressure in the process of the numerical changes. The simulation results mainly include: electric field distribution, electromagnetic energy loss distribution, specific absorption rate distribution, temperature field distribution, displacement field distribution, internal pressure field distribution and external acoustic pressure field distribution. Based on the simulation results, it can be shown that the established microwave thermoacoustic ultrasound simulation process is effective and efficient, which can help to distinguish normal tissues from diseased tissues, and is of certain reference significance for microwave thermoacoustic ultrasound imaging research.
