Education against disinformation

<ns3:p>Due to the spread of the Internet and social media, disinformation is becoming an increasingly common social problem. Its effects can even threaten life and health of some people. Various technological measures are being taken to combat disinformation, but there is still a lack of education in Poland aimed at preventing its spread. This article presents methods of preventing children and young people from believing in fake news. Research shows that the most effective such methods are to instruct students to create their own news and playing computer games. They are suitable for use in school lessons. It is worth introducing such methods as early as possible, because – as research has also shown – if someone has already succumbed to disinformation, it is often too late to combat its effects.</ns3:p>
