Distributed Fixed-Time Neurodynamic Algorithm and Its Application to Moving Target Tracking Control in Multi-Agent Systems

A distributed fixed-time neurodynamic (DFxTN) algorithm is designed in this paper for solving distributed optimisation problem with time-varying (TV) objective function and constraints. The DFxTN algorithm based on sliding mode control technique and fixed-time stability can make the multiagent system (MAS) reach consistency and track down the TV optimal solution of the optimisation problem in fixed time. In addition, the fixed-time convergence of the DFxTN algorithm is evidenced by Lyapunov theory. Finally, the effectivity of the DFxTN algorithm is demonstrated by numerical experiment. The DFxTN algorithm is employed in the moving target tracking control problem of MAS, and the experimental results show that the DFxTN algorithm is able to track the moving target according to the desired formation.
