Experimental Verification of Road Vehicle Detection Algorithm Based on Lidar and Camera Fusion
The performance of information fusion algorithm based on LiDAR and camera is tested experimentally in this paper. The experimental operating environment is a work station with Intel Xeon 2.40 GHz processor and 16 G memory. The whole fusion system is mounted on a movable rack for road obstacle detection. Experiments show that the accuracy rate of this algorithm reaches 90.05 %, the average detection time of single frame image data is 87.63 ms, and the error detection rate is 0.6 %, showing good accuracy and real-time performance, which can meet the requirements of real-time automatic driving, and has certain practicability.
