An Improved CS Algorithm for GEO-LEO Bisar Ground Moving Target Imaging
The geosynchronous-low earth orbit (GEO-LEO) bistatic synthetic aperture radar (BiSAR) system uses a LEO satellite as the receiver and a GEO satellite as the transmitter, which can achieve high-quality imaging of large scenes in land, sea, and airspace. In this manuscript, an improved chirp scaling (CS) algorithm based on the genetic algorithm (GA) is proposed to realize high-quality imaging of the ground moving target in the GEO-LEO BiSAR system. Firstly, the modeling of the GEO-LEO BiSAR and the ground moving target signal model are introduced in detail. Then, the improved CS algorithm is used to process the echo signal. Through estimating the correction coefficient to compensate for the azimuth compression function with GA, highquality images of ground moving targets can be created. Finally, simulations verify the feasibility of the proposed algorithm.
