MSTLC: A Cross-Chain Protocol Based on Multi-Signature Timelock

Current cross-chain protocols often struggle with efficiency and security, limiting their practical application across diverse blockchain architectures. This study introduces an enhanced Multi-Signature Timelock Contract (MSTLC) that integrates dual smart contracts, semaphores, and time-locks to significantly improve transactional efficiency and security. we leverage parallel contract execution, diverging from the conventional serial approaches like those seen in HTLC. Empirical tests conducted on the Ethereum blockchain demonstrate a prominent improvement in transaction speed and a notable enhancement in security and fairness, suggesting wide applicability in financial and industry blockchain sectors. This research paves the way for more robust, efficient cross-chain transactions, potentially transforming blockchain interoperability
