Method of Refined Facade Model Extraction Based on TOMOSAR Point Cloud
Building group models can be extracted from urban area TomoSAR point clouds, which can be used in important fields such as urban planning and map surveying. TomoSAR facade point clouds are relatively dense, from which facade footprints can be extracted, providing important basis for building model reconstruction. This paper proposes a method for extracting refined facade models based on tomographic point clouds. In order to reconstruct high-precision facade models with rich details, geometric prior knowledge is used to regularize and constrain the overall trend and shape details of facades. Experiments on facade model extraction were conducted using airborne array TomoSAR point clouds acquired in Yuncheng City, Shanxi Province, China, proving the effectiveness of the proposed method.
