Design of Signal Modulation Recognition System Based on Software Radio
Early modulation recognition primarily relied on manual identification, where technicians judged the modulation method of signals by observing spectral conditions and drawing on personal experience. Due to significant differences in experience among technicians, the accuracy of recognition results obtained through this method could not be guaranteed. To address these issues, a design scheme for a signal modulation recognition system based on software-defined radio (SDR) is proposed. The scheme adopts a modular software-defined radio architecture, utilizing ADALM-Pluto hardware to achieve real-time transmission and acquisition of radio frequency signals. Data interaction between the hardware module and the host computer is facilitated through a high-speed USB interface, combining with the host to construct a signal modulation recognition platform that completes signal feature extraction and modulation pattern recognition.
