Optimization of aircraft anti-skid braking control algorithm for braking efficiency and economy
Abstract The anti-skid braking system is vital for aircraft landing and taxiing. Algorithm parameter selection directly affects tire skid and brake distance. Making the wheel frequent slight skidding by fully utilizing tire-road friction coefficient can shorten brake distance but cause increased tire wear. From the viewpoint of actual engineering applications, the reduction of braking distance is not the sole core requirement. The economical usage of tires also needs to be taken into consideration. To address this problem, an optimization framework for aircraft anti-skid brake control is proposed to balance efficiency and economy. Firstly, an aircraft braking system model is constructed, and the optimization objective can be established accordingly. The efficiency and economy indicators are also clearly defined in quantitative terms Following that, a specialized particle swarm optimization algorithm is designed to optimize the parameters of anti-skid braking control system. Finally, the application on a certain aircraft shows the effectiveness and superiority of the proposed optimization algorithm through experiment results.
