A highly emissive boranil-pyrene hybrid for latent fingerprint visualization

Pyrene conjugated boranil analogue was used as fluorescent probe for the visualization of latent fingerprints (LFPs) through a binder-free powder dusting technique. The developed LFPs displayed clear level 1–2 details and demonstrated excellent stability for up to 100 days.
