Digital transformation and its impact on the socio-economic development of the world community in the XXI century

The article is devoted to the analysis of the impact of digital transformation on the socio-economic development of the world community in the 21st century. Author’s research, scientific publications and examples of successful digital initiatives are used as source data. The subject of the study is the changes in the economy, social structure and global interaction caused by the introduction of new technologies. The purpose of the work is to assess how digitalization affects the sustainability of human development. The hypothesis of the study is the assumption that digital transformation can be both a catalyst for progress and a source of new risks. The results of the study show that digitalization contributes to the emergence of new knowledge and technologies, but at the same time creates new challenges for humanity. The scientific contribution of the work consists in the development of recommendations for managing the processes of digital transformation of public relations.
