Process route optimization of complex thin-walled radiator parts using monarch butterfly optimization algorithm
This study addresses the issue of low machining efficiency caused by the unreasonable process routes of a complex thin-walled radiator part. By refining the classification of machining features based on machining accuracy, detailed coding of machining elements is established. Process constraints are analyzed in groups to derive a more optimized constraint matrix. A mathematical model for process optimization is developed, minimizing the number of machine, tool, and fixture changes. The Monarch Butterfly Optimization (MBO) algorithm is applied to generate an optimal machining sequence. Comparative results show that the optimized scheme reduces tool and fixture changes by 35% compared to pre-optimization routes.
