A reference facade for a wooden house

This article presents a metrological analysis of the façade of the Avakimovs' wooden house in the town of Gorodets, Gorky (now Nizhny Novgorod) Oblast, adopted as a reference model. Its system of horizontal and vertical linear dimensions reflects the principle of multiplicity factor between the façade elements and the overall dimensions of the wooden house. A relationship is discovered between this principle of multiple dimensionality and the key quantitative characteristics of the author's architectural ordination method. The proposed method of metrological analysis can be successfully applied in research by architects and art historians, as well as in the educational process at architecture and art universities.
