Stressors and Their Impact on Academic Productivity Among University Teachers in Private Universities of Delhi NCR
Stressors are crucial elements that elicit stress reactions in humans. Comprehending their many manifestations and particular effects is essential for tackling the issues encountered by professionals, particularly university educators, to cultivate a supportive work environment and improve productivity. Academic production is a complex word that signifies the output and contributions of university educators and researchers to their institutions and academic disciplines. It is shaped by several elements, including the work environment, individual well-being, and institutional support, and is essential for the progression of knowledge, pedagogy, and the academic community at large. Given the significant influence of these stresses on academic output, it is essential for private colleges to identify and mitigate the causes of stress encountered by their professors. Implementing strategies to mitigate stress, including offering sufficient technological training, enhancing the organizational climate, promoting work-life balance, and addressing concerns such as workplace bullying, can significantly improve faculty well-being and enhance overall academic performance. This research seeks to examine these stresses inside private institutions in Delhi NCR and elucidate how these variables affect academic production. The findings of the study are derived through the interpretation of research objectives, which are firmly grounded in a comprehensive review of relevant literature. The study employs a theoretical and qualitative approach to data analysis. To ensure the robustness of the research framework, more than 30 scholarly sources were reviewed to support and justify the objectives and interpretations.
