Vatansızlığın Önlenmesi Bağlamında Milliyet ve Vatandaşlık Temelli Yaklaşımlar Üzerine Bir İnceleme

As mass migration movements have increased in recent years, efforts to prevent statelessness have also gained momentum. Since the United Nations has mentioned the concept of statelessness more frequently since 2008, approaches to avoid statelessness have become more debated. Approaches have been developed on concepts such as human rights, international law, nationality, and citizenship, and each approach has tried to find solutions with the claim of preventing and reducing statelessness. This study aims to analyze nationality-based and citizenship-based approaches in the context of these approaches in a conceptual framework. In this study, nationality-based and citizenship-based approaches are analyzed through a literature review, and the claims of both approaches to prevent statelessness in the context of rights and legal recognition are evaluated in a conceptual framework.
