Innere und äußere Selbstorganisation von Peroxisomen

Abstract Peroxisomes are eukaryotic organelles for fatty acid oxidation and other metabolic tasks. They can differentiate into subpopulations via lumenal cores leading to uneven enzyme distribution and metabolic comaprtmentalization. Externally, they interact with other organelles at contact sites, supporting dynamic cellular positioning and metabolic cooperation.
