Observer‐based event‐triggered input–output finite‐time control of fractional‐order switched systems with asynchronous switching
Abstract This paper discusses the problem of observer‐based event‐triggered input–output finite‐time asynchronous control for fractional‐order switched systems (FOSSs). To reduce redundant information transmission, we propose a class of observer‐based event‐triggered schemes that enable on‐demand filtering of data packets encapsulating observer states and system mode information. By considering the transmission mechanism of system mode signals under the event‐triggered scheme, an asynchronous switching control strategy tailored for FOSSs is developed. Subsequently, we establish sufficient criteria for the input–output finite‐time stability (IO‐FTSy) of fractional‐order closed‐loop error switched systems and propose a new matrix inequality decoupling method that allows simultaneous determination of controller and observer gains. Furthermore, the Zeno behavior under asynchronous switching is investigated, and the positive lower bounds for the event‐triggered intervals are derived. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed control scheme is validated through its application to a fractional‐order DC‐DC boost converter circuit.
