PERBANDINGAN EFEKTIVITAS SENAM VIRTUAL REALITY DAN SENAM TRADISIONAL DALAM MENINGKATKAN KEBUGARAN FISIK

This study aims to compare the effectiveness of virtual reality (VR) technology-based gymnastics and traditional gymnastics in improving physical fitness of students. The research method used is a quantitative method with a pretest-posttest control group experimental design. The sample in this study consisted of 60 students who were divided into two groups, namely the VR gymnastics group and the traditional gymnastics group. The instruments used to measure physical fitness include physical fitness tests such as push-ups, sit-ups, 12-minute runs, and flexibility tests. The data analysis technique used a paired sample t-test to see the improvement in each group and an independent sample t-test to compare the differences in effectiveness between the two groups. The results showed that both types of gymnastics provided a significant increase in physical fitness, but virtual reality-based gymnastics showed an increase of 32.19%. which is higher than traditional gymnastics with a percentage value of 29.92%. Thus, VR gymnastics can be an innovative alternative in physical education learning to improve physical fitness more effectively.
