El (micro)cuento de la máquina: generadores textuales y el aforismo como precursor de las inteligencias artificiales generativas

This article addresses the significance of early text generators focused on microtexts for the development and advancement of generative artificial intelligences, proposing the literary value of these initiatives as a distinguishing factor. To this end, it focuses on the aphorism as a reference microgenre and, in particular, on the work La increíble máquina aforística by Ginés S. Cutillas due to its relation to Oulipian and Pataphysical proposals. These proposals aim to transform the generation of nonsensical aphoristic texts into a valid outcome that influences their reception, contrasting with the user’s expectations of a contemporary artificial intelligence that generates texts.

These proposals aim to transform the generation of nonsensical aphoristic texts into a valid outcome that influences their reception, contrasting with the user’s expectations of a contemporary artificial intelligence that generates texts.
