Desbordes aforísticos: intersecciones entre palabra e imagen en el aforismo español del siglo XXI

The contemporary aphorism demonstrates unprecedented vitality, both in the number of publications and in its consolidation within the literary system through specialized publishers and collections. Moreover, this genre, initially tied to wisdom literature, exhibits a formal diversity that transcends the definitions closest to the Hippocratic model: a brief, closed, and memorable statement that condenses some teaching or knowledge. For this reason, the present article will offer an expanded characterization of these micro-writings and analyze a series of transgeneric, intermedial, and performative practices in which the contemporary aphorism engages in a dialogue with other literary genres and artistic discourses.
