Low Temperature Fast Mixed OH−/H+ Ionic Conductor in Doped Strontium Cerates (Adv. Energy Mater. 37/2024)
Ionic Conductors In article number 2400678, Shanwen Tao and co-workers present the discovery of mixed OH−/H+ conduction in doped SrCeO3 ceramics at temperatures below 100 °C. A high ionic conductivity of 12 mS cm−1 and an excellent long-term stability over 100 h were found for 20% Y doped SrCeO3 in water at 60 °C. Ionic conductivity of oxides in KOH solution is greatly enhanced due to ‘feeding effect’.
