Digital-Age Curriculum: Integrating Technology to Meet Modern Educational Demands

The rapid evolution of digital technologies necessitates a fundamental transformation in educational curricula to meet 21st-century demands. This study investigates the integration of technology into modern curriculum frameworks, focusing on educators' perceptions, practices, and encountered challenges. A quantitative descriptive survey design was employed, collecting data from 300 secondary and higher secondary teachers through a structured questionnaire. Findings indicate strong institutional access to digital resources and broadly positive teacher attitudes toward technology's role in enhancing student engagement, critical thinking, and collaborative skills. However, significant barriers persist, including inadequate professional development, insufficient institutional support, time constraints, and variability in access, particularly between rural and urban settings. The study concludes that successful implementation of a digital-age curriculum requires a holistic approach beyond mere resource provision, emphasizing the need for strategic teacher training, supportive policies, and equitable infrastructure to fully realize technology's potential in preparing students for a technology-driven future.
