Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma with Second Relapse in Leukemic Phase
Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) is the most common subtype of non-Hodgkin lymphomas (NHLs) and accounts for approximately one-third of all types of NHL 1 .The presence of malignant lymphoma cells in peripheral blood is well recognized in mantle cell lymphoma, follicular lymphoma, anaplastic large cell lymphoma, and the terminal phases of all refractory lymphomas 2-5 .The leukemic phase of DLBCL is a rare condition and may be difficult to distinguish from acute leukemia or other types of NHL [6][7][8][9] .The leukemic phase usually occurs as a progressive phase or in stage IV disease and is rare at the time of diagnosis in DLBC 10,11 .
