Design of an All-SiC On-Board Auxiliary Inverter for Urban Rail Vehicles
In order to further expand the development of urban rail transit and reduce energy consumption, an on-board auxiliary inverter for urban rail vehicles based on high-power and high-voltage SiC devices is proposed. This design is based on three-phase inverter circuit, parameter design, simulation modeland loss analysis. The two-level SVPWM control mode is adopted, and after reasonable parameter design and efficient control scheme, it runs stably in simulation. A 130kVA high-power experimental platform is established by using all SiC power devices. When the input voltage is changed, the output voltage of the three-phase inverter is still stable at the expected value. When the load changes abruptly, the three-phase inverter still has fast response and output stability. The operation reliability of three-phase inverter using SiC power device is further verified, and the output voltage is more stable, the distortion rate is lower, and the efficiency is higher than that of Si power device.
