Ground training of future tactical aviation pilots in the context of the modern educational space

The article analyzes the essence and structure of the modern educational space as a dynamic, open, and innovative sociocultural phenomenon and a functional-spatial construct. The purpose of the article is to substantiate the theoretical foundations of ground training for future tactical aviation pilots in a higher military educational institution (HMEI) through the prism of the modern educational space concept. The research methodology is based on the analysis, synthesis, generalization, and systematization of scientific sources to reveal the concept of «educational space», its principles, structure, and development trends. The article explores the evolution and typology of educational space models (archaic, ancient, medieval, renaissance, modern), which allowed tracing the genesis of its key characteristics. The main principles of the modern educational space are systematized, including autonomy, variability, openness, digitalization, and personal growth. The key challenges influencing its institutional design are identified: global digitalization, openness of the educational environment, technologization of society, and an innovative development direction. The study proves that ground training for combat flights in HMEIs is a complex multilevel metasystem integrated into the modern educational space. A number of problems in the national pilot training system have been identified: the lack of normative consolidation of the concept of «ground training for combat flights», and outdated training content that does not meet modern requirements and NATO standards. The necessity of updating the content and methodology of ground training, and directing it towards the formation of key combat qualities of pilots is substantiated. The conclusions of the article state that the concept of educational space is a methodological basis for modernizing the pilot ground training system. Prospects for further research are seen in developing a structural-functional model for ensuring the quality of training for future tactical aviation pilots for combat flights, taking into account NATO standards and advanced world experience.
