Abstract

The article analyzes the main results of a study of the features of professional training of future teachers in classes on modern rehabilitation technologies when working with children with special needs.Being on the border of pedagogy, psychology and medicine, the teacher uses in his practice non-traditional methods and techniques of related sciences, which help to optimize the work of the teacher in a modern school. At the current stage of development of correctional pedagogy and psychology, there is increasing attention to the use of body-oriented methods, in particular sensorimotor correction, in working with children who have various developmental disorders. Research confirms that the state of a child's sensory systems directly affects their cognitive development, communication skills, and behavior.A secondary school teacher must be prepared not only for professional and pedagogical activities with ordinary students, but also for correctional and pedagogical work with children with psychophysical characteristics. A specialist who carries out correctional work is required to possess a variety of technologies and specific methods with the help of which the goal should be realized: normalization of students' educational activities, correction of defects in emotional, personal and social development; the ability to use them variably and purposefully. The educational components of the rehabilitation cycle form basic knowledge in the application of modern methods among higher education students, which will help improve work with children with special needs in inclusive/integrated learning and facilitate the work of the teacher.Ensuring the accessibility of sensorimotor correction techniques requires a comprehensive approach: training specialists, expanding correction programs, equipping educational institutions with technology, introducing innovations, and raising parental awareness. The combination of these areas will make sensorimotor correction effective and accessible to every child who needs it.
