Study of the bromide complex of amide of norbornene carboxylic acid as a surface-active compound
The presented work is devoted to the study of the properties of a new surfactant obtained on the basis of norbornene carbonic acid. For this purpose, at the initial stage, an amide was synthesized on the basis of norbornene carbonic acid and diethylenetriamine, and then an inorganic anionic complex (NDA + C3H5Br) of the obtained amide with allyl bromide. To synthesize the complex, 0.05 mol of acid amide and 0.1 mol of allyl bromide were taken. The physicochemical parameters of the synthesized bromide complex and its specific electrical conductivity were determined. The composition and structure of the obtained compounds were confirmed by IR, 1 H and 13 C NMR spectroscopic methods. Then, the oil-llecting and oil-dispersing properties of the obtained complex as a surfactant were studied.During the experiment, oil taken from the Balakhani oil field was used as a sample. The complex was tested on 3 types of water with different mineralization degrees (distilled water, drinking water, sea water). The obtained complex compound was applied to the oily water layer in the form of a 5% aqueous solution and undiluted reagent. The effectiveness of the reagent is determined according to the reduction in the area of the oil layer.According to the test results, it was determined that the obtained complex has an oil dispersing effect.A 5% aqueous solution of the reagent showed a dispersing effect of KD=85.3% in distilled water at =51.0-88.0h, KD=90.2% in drinking water at =51.0-88.0h, and KD=91.1% in seawater at =51.0-88.0h.In the case of the undiluted reagent, the complex demonstrated a dispersibility of KD=90.5% in distilled water for =51.0-88.0h, KD=93.5% in drinking water for =51.0-88.0h, and KD=94.8% in seawater for =51.0-88.0h
