Drilling fluids based on oil refining reagent from various clays mined in Azerbaijan fields

The article shows that the use of Zykh and Garachukhur clays extracted from Azerbaijani deposits in conditions of mineralization and temperature at the bottom of the well with increasing drilling depth for extracting oil and gas offshore is a topical issue. The resistance of this clay suspension to the coagulation effect of salts is explained by the peculiarity of their crystal structure. The article shows that when preparing the drilling fluid, a strict check of the sequence and time factor and measurement of the parameters of the solution at a temperature of 20C is carried out on the first and subsequent days. The article shows that Zykh and Garachukhur clays with a certain mineralogical composition are soaked in mineralized water and after reaching maximum swelling, calcium soda and saz are added, and at this time the polymer is dissolved separately.Based on mining and laboratory studies, it was determined that the additives polyacrylamide, petroleum refining copolymer, NaCl, CaCl2, NaOH, 40% formalin solution, saz (his), respectively, in the amount of 1; 0.8; 100; 10; 0.16; 0.6 and 1.5 g/l should be applied. Thus, it is suggested that it should be recommended for drilling fluid to give good results
