Microwave- and ultrasound-assisted green synthesis and thermal properties of 2-(2,4-dichlorophenyl)-4,5-diphenyl-1(4-(phenyldiazenyl)phenyl)-1h-imidazole
The work deals with the synthesis of 2-(2,4-dichlorophenyl)-4,5-diphenyl-1(4-(phenyldiazenyl)phenyl)-1H-imidazole, the study of its physicchemical and thermal properties. The synthesis process was carried out under different conditions -synthesis under microwave and ultrasound conditions in the presence of ionic liquid catalysts. The physicochemical properties of the obtained imidazole were studied and its thermal properties were studied.During the catalytic synthesis, environmentally friendly, water-soluble and economically efficient ionic liquid catalysts 1,4-dimethylpiperazinedihydrosulfate, N-methylpyrrolidoneperchlorate, 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolehydrosulfate were used.Benzil, ammonium acetate, p-aminoazobenzene and 2,4-dichlorobenzaldehyde were used as reagents, and ethanol was used as a solvent. The work studies the effect of microwave and ultrasound on the yield and reaction time in catalytic syntheses. The main objective is to study the synergistic effects of microwave and ultrasound with the catalyst. The results of the conditions were compared and it was determined that when the 1,4-dimethylpiperazinedihydrosulfate catalyst is used in combination with microwave and ultrasound, it is possible to obtain a high yield (95.6%) in a shorter time (9 min). The structure of the synthesized compound was analyzed by 1 H, 13 C NMR and IR spectroscopy methods and the structure was confirmed. The thermal stability of the synthesized imidazole in an inert environment was studied and it was determined that it has high thermal stability
