Üniversitelerde Öğrenim Gören Görme Engelli Öğrencilerin Bilgiye Erişimi Ve Dijital İletişim Sorunları

This research examines the digital inequalities that visually impaired students studying at universities encounter in accessing information. Semi-structured in-depth interviews were conducted with 16 visually impaired students and 3 teachers from state and foundation universities. The main purpose of the study is to determine the difficulties these students experience when using information and communication technologies and to offer solution suggestions. The focus of the study is particularly on access barriers encountered in university libraries and digital platforms. The results show that current services are inadequate to meet the needs of visually impaired students and that there are deficiencies in digital accessibility. In this context, the study aims to raise awareness about the equality and participation of disabled individuals and to offer concrete solution suggestions.
