A High-Frequency LLC Resonant Converter Incorporating Matrix Transformer
With the development of modern power electronics technology, the miniaturization of switching power supplies and the magnetic integration technology of planar transformers are both topics worth studying. In this paper, a high efficiency and high power density matrix transformer structure for LLC resonant converters is proposed. The matrix transformer helps to reduce the leakage inductance and AC resistance of the winding. It uses the flux offset method to reduce the core size and loss. Next, we select the SPPS type winding form through a comparison process. Finally, in order to verify the correctness of the theory and analysis, the circuit model simulation test is carried out, and a prototype LLC resonant converter with 112.4V/28V and 250W at 1MHz is made.
