A Reconfigurable Half-Bridge Buck Based on Dickson SC Converter with DCX-LLC for Wide Input Voltage Range Applications
With the rapid development of electric vehicles, on-board DC-DC converters need to achieve efficient power conversion at high frequency and wide input voltage range. In this paper, a two-stage DC-DC converter is proposed, the front stage adopts a Dickson switched-capacitor reconfigurable half-bridge buck converter with wide-range voltage regulation through dynamic configuration of the number of charging cells, which serves as the bus voltage and enables soft charging. The second stage is a DCX-LLC resonant converter, designed with optimised parameters to ensure Zero Voltage Switching (ZVS) over the entire load range. Finally, the correctness of the theoretical analysis is verified by simulation and experiment results with an input of 250-420 V and an output of 200 W/12 V laboratory prototype.
