Linear-ESO Based Control for Wide Input Range Partial Power Regulated DCDC Converter
Traditional resonant converters suffer from resonance point shifts under frequency adjustments, leading to efficiency sacrifice and limited voltage regulation ranges. In recent years, partial power voltage regulation has been widely attracted due to advantages of low device stress, high efficiency and easy control in wide range. However, traditional fixed-parameter PI control is less effective and low robustness in a wide operating range due to the sensitivity to the system operating points. Therefore, an active disturbance rejection control (ADRC) strategy with disturbance differential observation based on high order linear ESO is proposed for partial power regulation systems with wide input range. The detailed analysis of the mathematical model, frequency-domain characteristics, the influence of control parameters for the proposed controller are presented in this paper. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed control strategy was verified through experimental testing compared with PI control.
